Wiltwyck, a private golf club located in Kingston, NY, was under new ownership and opening up its championship course to the public for the first time, and therefore needed a rebrand.

Challenge: KDD was enlisted to bring a modern look to the 85-year-old golf club brand, offering fresh appeal to a new generation of golfers. The challenge was to find a balance between the old brand and the new. Once an updated visual identity was established, our team was tasked with building a new website for the club in record time.

Result: KDD began with the logo: we revised the original tree logo by keeping a similar and singular color, while modernizing the icon of the tree. With the rebrand underway, we began to design and build a new custom responsive WordPress website, with easy-to-navigate content for the club, the restaurant, and a separate site for weddings and events. The refreshed branding was then expanded to business cards, stationery, a new promotional brochure, and banner displays. We also helped to develop print advertising and provided social media consultation early on in the launch.
