2023 Website Launch Roundup
Another year has passed, and so it’s time once again for KDD’s annual Website Launch Roundup! Here are the highlights of websites we launched in 2023.
When construction kicked off for The Arlington, a website was needed to raise awareness for this new residential community. KDD created a brand identity around The Arlington’s existing logo and designed the website to emphasize the apartments’ modern finishes, eco-friendly living, and connection to local people and places.
Betty Ming Liu
Holistic Life & Career Coach, Betty Ming Liu, needed a fresh website that would convey her personality and allow her to connect with prospective clients. KDD designed a website that interweaves Betty’s personal story with her holistic coaching offerings.
Architectural sales firm JHC Sales needed to upgrade the company’s bare-bones website into an expanded online presence that would fully convey the firm’s services, products, and projects. KDD created a site with streamlined navigation and content that showcases JHC’s work filtered by industry and product applications.
Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Center
The Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Center aims to support the LGBTQ+ community by promoting well-being, advocating for equity and opportunity, and celebrating their diverse experiences. With a multitude of resources, programs, and events, the Center needed a website that would present lots of information in an organized, user-friendly way. KDD launched a website that offers an inviting user experience and supports the Center’s mission.
Brickmen Kitchen + Bar
When Brickmen Kitchen + Bar opened its doors in Kingston, the restaurant brought a globally-inspired menu to the Hudson Valley while embracing the area’s industrial heritage. KDD built upon the restaurant’s existing logo to create a website, menus, and marketing materials.
New York Medieval Society
The New York Medieval Society supports furthering the exchange of ideas around medieval knowledge and culture. KDD used the organization’s existing logo as a springboard for the website and created supporting visuals that reflect its mission and goals.
After initially designing the brand and a simple landing page for The Kingston Factories properties, KDD built the full website in 2023. The Kingston Factories serve as a cornerstone for the thriving arts community in Midtown Kingston, with each of the three buildings offering artist lofts, art studios, and commercial spaces for small businesses.
Motivational speaker Brandon Arold primarily targets audiences of teenagers and young adults, addressing the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse through his own personal story. KDD designed a website to help Brandon convey his story, share testimonials, and connect with event organizers, making it easy for prospective clients to book him as a speaker via the site.
As a journalist, author, and professor, Rachel Swarns focuses on race and race relations in her work. She needed a website that would allow her to promote her books, share her research, and publicize upcoming events. KDD developed a WordPress website that would offer Rachel an easy platform to update her content, as needed.
Scribner’s Catskill Lodge
A bespoke lodge in the Catskills of Upstate New York, Scribner’s offers 38 rooms of accommodations, an on-site restaurant, and space for private events year-round. The website conveys the lodge’s penchant for embracing the outdoor lifestyle, taking inspiration from the surrounding Catskill Mountains. Although KDD did not design the website, our team was enlisted to bring the site to completion and launch it.
YSC Wellness Summit
When long-time KDD client Young Survival Coalition (YSC) needed a new website for the organization’s annual Wellness Summit, our team jumped at the opportunity. We expanded upon YSC’s brand to create the Wellness Summit brand and a website that conveys movement, energy, and living a healthy life.
Montano’s Shoe Store enlisted KDD’s expertise to create a refreshed, modern, and user-friendly website. Our team developed content to better showcase the store’s wide selection of shoes for the entire family, while also highlighting the staff of “shoe experts” that set Montano’s apart from the competition.
